Jewett Elementary Mrs. Miller~ Room 10 ♥3/4 blend♥ 2009-20010 I am so excited about the start of the year on Tuesday, September 1! I am looking forward to getting to know your child as well as making a great relationship with you. Just so you know a little about me… I was born and raised in Central Point, Oregon. I have one sister, Kara Laws, who is a 3rd grade teacher at Mae Richardson. I received my Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology in 1995 from Southern Oregon University. I stayed at home for 12 years raising our three kids Alex 14 (Freshman at Cascade Christian High School), Sarah 12 (7th grader at Scenic), and Abby 9 (4th grade at MRE). Four years ago, I started back to school and received my Master’s in Education from Concordia University. My First year at Jewett I taught 2nd grade and last year I taught 5th grade. My husband Brian is a Health/PE teacher at Rogue River and their Athletic Director. I am very pleased and honored to be a part of your child’s education.
